MONTHLY MEETINGS
- Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month during term time.
- The meetings take place in the in the main hall of the Community Centre at Edgware & Hendon Reform Synagogue, Stonegrove.
- The Community Centre is a large building at the rear of the main Synagogue and the Hall is a very large area allowing plenty of room for social distancing. It is on the first floor of the building, but there is a lift for those unable to use the stairs.
- On-site parking is temporarily suspended. Once the work is completed it will be available but limited typically to those with disabled badges. If you do need a parking space you must register your vehicle with the main office (020 8238 1000) at least one working day in advance. However, there is plenty of local on-street parking available.
- The meetings usually finish by 12.15pm
- Tea/coffee and biscuits are served from 10.30am and the meetings start at 11.00am with a report from the Chairman on latest branch news. Then follows a talk from an invited guest on a subject of general interest with questions from the floor.
- Notification of the dates, names of speakers and subjects are also provided to members in the newsletters and in regular information bulletins.
OUTINGS
- There are two types of outings we organise. Every month we organise an outing to a location of interest. We also join up with the London Walking Group once a month.
- For these outings, it is important that you register your intention to join as shown so that the organiser knows how many are going to join the outing.
