IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Classes which do not maintain a minimum regular core attendance may be subject to cancellation, at the discretion of the Study Group leader
2. Your current membership card should be carried at all attendances
3. Prospective members are admitted to one session free of charge. Thereafter it is necessary to join Stanmore & District U3A.
4. Groups meet at Glebe Hall, Stanmore on both morning and afternoon on Tuesdays and Wednesdays including the "lunch period". For this reason members are welcome to bring food with them when attending these sessions, and may also purchase refreshments and drinks at economic prices.
5. A new parking control has been introduced at Glebe Hall. You will need to display a parking permit if you are to avoid a parking fine. The permits will be held in the register folder and will be issued by the Group Leader when you check in for your session. It is essential that all permits are returned to the group leader at the end of the session unless you are staying for the next session.
6. Please respect that the Glebe Hall is used by various groups and knock on the door if access is require outside of your groups' normal times. This will allow the current group leader to facilitate access as appropriate.

EMERGENCY INFORMATION
We are none of us getting any younger and as time goes by the likelihood of falling ill, or having an accident, when out-and-about can only get greater. But what would then happen? How would potential helpers know how to treat you? Without certain vital information treatment could be delayed or withheld with serious, if not fatal, consequences.
With these concerns in mind, we have designed a form for you to complete giving all the vital information required and we suggest that you fill this in and place it in an envelope marked ‘To be opened in a medical emergency only’ which you should then carry with you at all times. You can now download this form from the link at the bottom left hand corner of this page.
Of course, we all hope this is never required, but at least now you will be sure that, if the need arises, the right sort of help will be available as quickly as possible.
MEMBERS' PHOTOGRAPHS
Our new web site has better faculties for using photographs of our activities but before we publish any member's picture we first need the permission to do so. We have designed a form for you to provide us with this permission and there is now a link to this form at the bottom of this page. Could all members (who have not already done so) please download a form for each member, complete with 2 signatures and then either return this in the post to The Secretary, Stanmore and District U3A, c/o 38 Broadfields Avenue,Edgware, HA8 8PG or email it to stanmoreu3a@gmail.com.
